What to wear
Beach formal — elegant, but breathable
Think a wedding you'd dress up for, held somewhere warm. Light fabrics, dressy but comfortable, and shoes that can handle a little sand. When in doubt, lean elegant — and pack for heat.
A palette, if it helps
Totally optional — but if you'd like to coordinate with the setting, these soft, sun-washed tones feel right.

For her
- A floor-length or midi dress in a flowing fabric
- Soft, warm-weather colors — florals and pastels are perfect
- Wedges or block heels (stilettos and sand don't mix)
- A wrap or light layer for breezy evenings
For him
- A linen or lightweight suit, or dress pants with a crisp shirt
- Light colors — tan, sand, soft blue, or grey
- A jacket optional; a tie is welcome but not required
- Loafers or dressy sandals over heavy dress shoes
